Tweets - a bit belated here, but I birded Kittitas and Grant Counties on
Monday. The birding was great in the morning, and then dried up to nothing.

I've posted some photos at

sure I had 2 juvenile GRASSHOPPER SPARROWS on Bettas Rd. in Kittitas County.
Sparrow officianados - if you could check out the photos and bless my ID,
I'd be greatly appreciative.

On the west end of Smithson Rd., ON THE ROAD, I had a family of GRAY
PARTRIDGE, including 1 chick.

On Hunzinger Rd., I was able to refind the BLACK-THROATED SPARROW, right
where it had been reported by Brad Waggoner back in June. The location is
0.8 miles south of the entrance to Wanapum SP on the west side of the road.
(This is basically half-way between the state park and Getty's Cove).

In Grant County, I was looking for shorebirds. The only good shorebirding
spot I found was the County Line ponds on SR-26 immediately west of Adams
County.

There I had:
