Tweets, I hadn't been to Discovery Park in several weeks,
and I'm now wondering why. Such a lovely place, such a
gorgeous morning, and lots of nice birds. The headliner
would be the EASTERN KINGBIRD spotted just east of
the West Point lighthouse shortly after 9AM. At the top
of the park in various locations were a couple of WILLOW
FLYCATCHERS and one OLIVE-SIDED. In the water
just off the lighthouse were 8-10 RHINO. AUKLETS; I also
had a brief look at a pair of Jaegers flying low across the
middle of the bay, too far for more precise ID.
