There have been a small number of Eurasian Collared Doves in Fall City for at least 3 years. I am living out of the area now but they used to be regulars around the old Wells Nursery site near the intersection of 328th and Issaquah Fall City Road. A single pair reproduced at least twice last summer.

Tweets,

A friend of mine has what looks like an Eurasian Collared-Dove in his yard. But it has the dark spot on its cheek like a White-winged Dove, and the dark neck-ring of the Eurasian Collared-Dove.

Is there another dove that it could be? It is not a Band-tailed Pigeon, which is also in the yard, and the song is wrong for the Mourning Dove.

Thanks,
