It has come to light that ?Happy Valley? had been harboring a deep dark secret.? No one there had apparently been happy enough to Race. But that situation has now been rectified as veteran racer DIANE BIRSNER has ridden, or moved, to the rescue.? Happy Valley?s Birsner (arrived March) is at a cool 53 with SOLITAIRE & RED CROSSBILL while the PETERSON family is at 62 in the Sehome neighborhood with SOLITAIRE & EVENING GROSBEAK and Bellingham now has NEIGHBORHOOD RACING, just like it?s big neighbor to the south.

Speaking of which TIM HALLER ?of the Ogden neighborhood? of Vancouver was at 26 in early may with AMERICAN KESTREL, CACKLING GOOSE, & SAY?S PHOEBEE. Haller is guaranteeing a new record for Vancouver.
?
And FASTEN YOUR SEATBELTS before reading this! JIM DANZENBAKER is at (or above: Monk Parakeet?) 90 in nearby Battleground with LESSER GOLDFINCH.? Don?t forget Jim will be at the Gig Harbor Wild Birds Unlimited Store discussing optics tomorrow, see yesterday?s tweeters.

Another Speedracer is LINDA PHILLIPS, racing G out of Kenmore with? 55 as of last report including WESTERN WOOD PEWEE.? Kenmore is now guaranteed a big first record in the YBR record book.

JOHN TUBBS was at 46 as of last report way back in mid May in Snoqualmie, with MOUNTAIN CHICKADEE.
?
In Licton Springs,? JOSH HAYES is at 32 with MACGILLIVRAY?S YELLOW, WILSON?S, TOWNSEND?S & YELLOW-RUMPED WARBLERS.

?KRISTI HEIN & KEVIN BAZEWICK have 42 ?including OLIVE-SIDED FLYCATCHER.? They need 22 to tie their own record.
?
MICHELLE ZENNER-BERTELS is putting Yelm on the the YardBirdRace? with 18 seen as of May 26? including MOUNTAIN CHICKADEE & ?ORANGE-CROWNED WARBLER.

Nine individual BLACK-HEADED GROSBEAKS? got IDIE ULSH?S attention in Tahuya, and helped her to 42 by mid May, just 25 off her previous record there.
?
DAVE CATTERSON is racing in Olympia this year with 32 including LESSER GOLDFINCH (with photos).?
