Hi Tweets,
First off, I must thank Greg Toffic, and Jeff Gibson for posting this location. This is not just a good spot for birding it was terrific. Bullock's Orioles, Eastern Kingbirds, Flycatchers, Osprey, Black-headed Grosbeaks, Spotted Sandpipers and, Bald Eagles were the highlights of the day
I am sure the Eastern Kingbirds are nesting in the area as you can tell from the photos. I don't think this is very common for Western Washington.
In addition to the birds a Long-tailed Weasel made an appearance about 6:30 am. Unfortunately no Great Egret either.
