Dear Tweeters,

What a banner day. Breakfast with the birds was a huge success, but the
highlight was after the event. At around 11 am., I returned to the office
to unload items, when I noticed a group of people with binoculars looking
intently at our feeders. Yes, a male Rose-breasted Grosbeak was feeding at
the tube feeder, then in the flythrough. It apparently had been feeding for
about 20 minutes. After feeding, it flew over to a tree to sing for a bit.
Many folks that attended the breakfast were able to enjoy watching our
unusual visitor. I have asked the Rangers at the park to call me if it
returns and will post to let folks know if it will be hanging around for a
while. What a park!!!
