Tweets - I have a friend who's a Washington native who has seen almost
nothing in the state. I'm trying to think up the very most amazing places
one really ought to visit in Washington. I've hit a ton of great spots
while birding, but I was wondering if there are some I've never been to, or
others I'm forgetting.

Some of the most obvious must-see sites would be:

Paradise
Palouse Falls
Mt. St. Helens
Washington Pass
Dungeness Spit

Some lesser known / smaller / more obscure sites would be:

Point of Arches (Shi Shi Beach - s. of Neah Bay)
Rosario Head
Deception Falls (e. of Skykomish)
Umtanum Recreation Area
Frenchman's Coulee

I'd also be interested in cultural spots such as the museum in Neah Bay, the
city of Port Townsend, etc.

My friend is not a birder, per se. Rather than great birding spots, such as
Wenas or Wastucna, I'm more interested in those spots that just make you say
WOW whenever you see them. Places you don't need to hike (far) into would
be better. Yes, Monte Cristo can be spectacular, but I don't think I can
drag my friend that far (yet).

What am I missing?
