Great list going folks! Keep it up. Don't forget the season or shy away
from winter trips. Pick a nice sunny winter day or weekend or more to
visit some of these places. The low December / January sun with it's ever
shifting long shadows all day long brings out textures and contrasts that one
never finds during the high sun season which of course is great in it's own
right. Winter Washington is just so totally different and makes for some
of the most exhilarating travel, exploration, and breath taking visuals that
absolutely stir the soul all day long.
