An orange hummingbird flew down the tree line and disappeared for
awhile, but came back to visit my feeder. I have a very small
hummingbird feeder. It is so small that you wouldn?t think that it
would attract any hummers. I?ve been patiently waiting for them this
year and had prepped the bird feeder quite early. It was so early in
fact that the food had nearly all blown or leaked out. There was a
residual amount in the bottom of the feeder that was not even visable.

In the tall pines, a shrike visited yesterday.
