Hi everyone,

Thanks to Ken Grant for finding an INDIGO BUNTING at Three Forks Natural Area near Snoqualmie (see his earlier post).? Ken found the bird around 9:00 am this morning.? I didn't get his e-mail until this afternoon, and got to the location as soon as I could (around 3:00 pm) - his description of how to get there is excellent.? I searched for about 45 minutes with no luck on the Indigo Bunting.? However, I did get nice looks and images of a very nice male LAZULI BUNTING (a new species on my personal list for that location).? I also saw what I was almost certain was a LEAST FLYCATCHER.?

As I was leaving, Gene Hunn showed up.? He found the Lazuli Bunting and also found the INDIGO BUNTING and called Ken to let him know.? Ken called me and also relayed the info that Gene found a Least Flycatcher as well.? I intend to go back to the location tomorrow morning to see if the bird is still around.?

For those interested in chasing the bird, be forewarned that there are clouds of mosquitos in the area where it was found.?

Following is a link to one of the images of the Lazuli Bunting that I had - http://www.tubbsphoto.com/-/tubbsphoto/detail.asp?photoID=8479030&cat=53425 .?

Per Gene, there are only a handful of records?for Indigo Bunting for the state, so this is an excellent find - nice work, Ken!
