Hi,At Gasworks park on Lake Union in Seattle this evening, I saw a Barn
Swallow with a white belly and darker face, suspiciously like a Eurasian.
However, I saw it as a flyby with fading light, no binoculars dang it, so
couldn't see whether it had a dark breast band. Tail streamers did NOT seem
exceptionally long, so if Eurasian, probably female. But, if American, I've
never seen a summer bird so thoroughly white below; it didn't seem to be in
molt, as very pale winter birds often are.

Keep your eyes open around Lake Union; I lost it over the water flying
toward Eastlake. Careful with Violet-Greens with gleaming white bellies;
there are a few of them around too, just to get your hopes up now and then!

Good luck,
