Hi all,

My husband, Craig Johnson, and I were fortunate to be able to monitor
a Rufous Hummingbird nesting this spring at the Earth Sanctuary, in
Freeland, on Whidbey Island. We observed daily for 34 days, taking a
photo each day. Craig put the photos together to make a slide show
presentation of their development, from eggs to fledging. This female
Rufous Hummingbird incubated two eggs for 12 days, brooded the young
for 6 days, and they fledged 22 days after hatching. The link is below.
