Great looks at the AMERICAN REDSTART this morning. I would modify Michael's
directions slightly - instead of saying 'second right', stay straight and
the trail will curve left over the bridge without rails. Otherwise, the
bird could be found exactly where described. Thought I might have heard a
second redstart but only one came into the iPod.



BANK SWALLOWS could easily be found down-river at the cut-bank. An
OLIVE-SIDED FLYCATCHER was also singing in trees at the far north end of the
meadow near the river.
