Subject: [Tweeters] Hummer in Trouble

We have what appears to be a juvenile female Rufous hummingbird with
something ? it looks like feather material ? stuck on its beak near, but not
at the tip. This is making it virtually impossible to feed. It is being
shadowed by an adult male Rufous that appears to be pecking at the material
on the juvenile?s beak. Meanwhile the juvenile looks to be growing weaker.
Any ideas about lending assistance?
