Nice day at Ridgefield. The usual suspects, plus a pair of yellow-headed
blackbirds was feeding one youngster at the first lagoon on the left, S
unit. Pelicans still there, and at the last lagoon area, a Virginia Rail
stood on the side of the road and stared at our car for a good 15 seconds
before darting across. Great looks.
Take insect repellent, the mosquitoes are heavy-duty.
