Dear WA Tweeters:

My spouse and I plan to make a trip out to Seattle and then the Olympic
Peninsula sometime during 2010. We first plan to spend a few days in
Seattle visiting a friend, and we'll then head out to the Olympic Peninsula
for 3 - 4 days. While on our trip, we plan to explore the national forests,
including the rainforests, and the Pacific coast. We would appreciate any
recommendations regarding the 1) best time of the year to visit for birding
diversity, and 2) specific locations to visit for target species, like
Spotted Owl and Hermit Warbler. Since we've never been to this area before,
lodging recommendations on the peninsula would be welcomed too.

Thanks in advance, and good birding to all,

Angela M. Hoffman
