Hey Tweets,

The old saying "Be careful what you wish for" certainly applies around here the last few weeks.

I started hearing lots of crows and ravens in the evenings and again in the mornings. We don't have alot of crows here so just the volume got me wondering. The next night we heard a young owl flying through the trees begging, screeching crying from the parent. Now that was something to hear. We hoped it was GHOs. And then one evening there is was the juv GHO in the maple tree.
So I looked around and noticed not one bird, squirrel, chipmunk or rabbit in the yard. My seed bill will be greatly reduced this month.
And so the quiet continues here, I got nothing, nada, zip.
And I thought it got quiet when the pair of Coops flew in. ;)
You can see a dark photo of the GHO on my blog.
