was just inundated by my first pine siskins in almost four months. strange not to see them for so long, then see 15-20 at once on my feeder...

at the same moment, i had one black-capped chickadee, one chestnut-backed chickadee, and one downy woodpecker all munching on their own little piece of suet #2...

and as i type this, the suet (and another chestnut-backed) were buzzed by an anna's hummer for about 20 seconds...

i love my window :)
