Hello fellow tweets,

It is the end of the winter reporting period (December 1 - February 28)
and time for me to request your bird sightings for the period. I know
that winter doesn't officially end for another couple of weeks, but
given the cold and lowland snows of this winter I'm recognizing the
birding calender for my jump into Spring.

Tom Aversa(FieldNotes at wos.org) for WOS Field Notes would love to see
reports from any part of the state. Doug Schonewald
(dschone8 at donobi.net) and I keep tabs of unusual bird sightings for
North American Birds. Doug tallies birds east of the Cascade Crest and I
take care of the west-side. Unusual sightings include rare species for
location, early or late migrants, and high number counts.

Please send reports by March 15.

Thanks and good birding,

Brad Waggoner
