Hi Tweeters,

I drove up the east side of the Columbia River, then headed for
Othello yesterday. I found many of the birds reported from yesterday
by others, with LONG-TAILED DUCK and WHITE-WINGED CROSSBILLS being
the highlights. I also got a good look at the ROSS'S GOOSE as it
flew over Royal Lake with a small flock of TAVERNER'S CACKLING GEESE,
which made a good size comparison. There were about ten SANDHILL
CRANES in a corn field along Road 15.1 on the way to Royal Lake and
at least 50 more landed while I was there.

Photos of these are in the new photos folder on my website.
