Forestfarm is an excellent mail order source for serviceberry plants. A quick search of their website: http://www.forestfarm.com/

yields 13 varieties including the Western Serviceberry, Amelanchier alnifolia.

Don't overlook 'cultivars' when selecting plants, they have fruit also, and bring additional attributes such as impressive flowers, spectacular autumn leaf color, and wonderful winter stem color just to name a few.

We bought and planted about 12 different species/cultivars of Amanchlier from Raintree and Forestfarm when we lived in Goldbar WA and all were used by birds. In Vancouver WA, we see primarily Robins using our "Saskatoon" Serviceberry.
