Hello, I live in Greenlake area of Seattle and I am looking to connect with
anyone that might know more about owls in and around Greenlake/Upper
Woodland Park. I understand it is breeding time for some species so I
certainly don't wish to bother any nesting birds but if you can assist in my
pursuit, I would be grateful. I know there are owls in other parks, but I am
specifically looking to find them (or evidence of them) in this specific
area. I would be happy to be part of a survey if someone can give me some
tips on what to do, what to look for (are pellets unique?).

Over the last few years I have a positive aural ID on a great horned in
Greenlake that I heard at roughly 3am in a tree outside my house and a
visual that I think was a Great Horned (size/coloration) but it was moving
rather quickly being chased by crows in daylight so not %100 sure.

Thanks,

Steve Graham
