hi again:

as some of you may know, my wife jo gilley died last year shortly after
thanksgiving. while we weren't big participants on a lot of formal
activities, we did attend a few elwas and seattle audubon classes and she
and spike, the wonder dog, and i made several of michael hobbs' marymoor
walks. she truly enjoyed her time birding with other enthusiasts.

as a sort of wake/celebration of jo's life/thank god it's finally spring,
we've rented the northbend theatre for the afternoon of march 22 to show her
favorite movie, 'brazil'. start time will be one o'clock. free admission
is open to any and all who'd like to see the movie, whether you knew her or
not. snack bar at the theatre will be no host, but there's plans to make
some arrangements to eat a slice of pizza or something after the show,
either at the theatre or down the road at one of the pizza joints (probably
safari or sahare, whatever it is, at the bowling alley -- they have a
dynamite four cheese pesto that is very good). pizza will be hosted.
again, everybody who shows up is welcome.

the movie is rated 'r', so if you have rugrats, plan accordingly.

regards,

t
