In the early 1990's a flock of about 60 starlings appeared at Cape Alava.
During a week long stay in March I was able to observe peregrines nabbing
them on 6 occasions, and saw several other passes through the flock. Two
years later there were no starlings seen. I visit here annually and have
only seen starlings again once, and not in a flock.
