I bought a mesh tube feeder for shelled peanuts this past Sunday. Today I
put out not only a handful of peanuts but on top also some dried-up squash
seeds I'd been saving. Previously I had just put them out in a bowl but
they always got wet, here they are kept dry by the dome overhead.

Just saw some chestnut-backs and black-caps taking them out in preference to
the peanuts.
