Subject: [Tweeters] Battle Ground Yard Birding

Hi Tweeters,

I haven't been at home much this year so any nice day in March can produce
quite a few year birds in my Battle Ground, Clark County yard:
Pileated Woodpecker 1 (March is the best month for Pileated here)
Northern Harrier 1 (beautiful male)
Rock Pigeon 1
Mew Gull 5 (circling high overhead and dwarfed by Glaucous-winged Gulls)
Violet-Green Swallow 1

A few Pine SIskins and Dark-eyed Juncos are starting to return to the
feeders after being disappointed by my absence and consequent absence of
food.

Keep your ears and eyes skyward.

Jim
