Steve and tweeters,

Saw our first Turkey Vulture of the season along upper Scatter Creek on March 3, but haven't seen one here since.

Hi

Marv Breece and I birded Whidbey Island on Tuesday.

At Penn Cove we saw a single Turkey Vulture near Penn Cove - the earliest record for both of us. It was fairly low and headed west over a hillside and quickly out of sight.

During the day we saw nearly a 100 species - despite a later start and early finish.

Cheers and good birding
