Good Morning Fellow Tweeters,

Ranger Adam Fahlenkamp called me last night to report a number of birds
observed at the park during his walk yesterday. Among all the new arrivals
were Western Bluebirds, Red-winged Blackbirds, Pilieated Woodpeckers, Song
Sparrows, and Spotted Towhee. We have had around 30 Steller's Jays and
approx. 50 American Goldfinches coming to feeders daily (the feeders are set
up near the office). He also spotted a Rough-legged Hawk and a small owl
species. Brooks is approx. at the 2700 to 3000 ft level, so our arrivals
are a bit later than others in the area. What an exciting time of year!
