Hi Tweeters,

Today at the Montlake Fill - Between blustery and beautiful sunshine, we saw the following:

Lots of American Wigeons; at least two male European Widgeons
A number of Shoveler pairs
A number of Green-Winged Teal pairs
Two pairs (I think) Lesser Scaup
One or more male and several female Hooded Mergansers
One pair Mallards
Several Buffleheads (one female looked different, with lighter and varied-colored breast)
Canada Geese
Coots
Cormorants

Lots of Violet-Green Swallows
Several Tree Swallows

Sparrow (I believe White-Crowned, but not sure)
One Killdeer

I believe one female and one male Yellow-rumped Warbler

Flicker
Starlings
Robins
