Subject: [Tweeters] Red-necked Grebes at Browns Point

hi Tweeters,

Today I had a great look at a pair of Red-necked Grebes off Browns Point,
Tacoma. I saw them last week as well, but farther out in the bay. Today
they were casually swimming 50 feet from the shore. I've also seen a small
flock of Black Turnstones still walking on the boom logs along the
northeastern shore of Commencement Bay along 509. And I've regularly seen a
good size flock of Thayer's Gulls most reliable on the roof of the green
building or blue building across the street from Gog-Le-Hi-Te Wetlands near
the mouth of the Puyallup!
