We had a lovely Varied Thrush in our backyard this morning, busily kicking
around in the leaf litter. It's only the second time I've seen one in the
yard in the last 15 years. Is the Spring dispersal of last year's young of
year underway?

Nice to see, but I'd have to say our yard is not great VATH habitat: too
open.
