On Sunday afternoon, Faye McAdams Hands and I saw a lone Osprey flying over
I-5 just south of downtown Seattle.

Then Wednesday March 18, the first Osprey was noted on the nest on the Purdy
spit on Burley Lagoon (Pierce County). Last evening, Faye and I noted TWO
Osprey there. These Osprey are about a week ahead of schedule, but they
will need the extra time because the nest there really disintegrated during
the winter and needs lots of work.
