Hi Tweets,

Catching up on posts after a week of birding in Arizona, I see that
everyone is as excited about spring birds here as they are down
there. I think I'm still stuck in winter. I got up this morning to
enjoy watching the Fox Sparrows that are lingering under my feeders.
I stopped by my sister's house in Shoreline this afternoon to clean
out and re-hang the chickadee nest box and watched a SLATE-COLORED
JUNCO competing with the urban yard rats for the sunflower seeds that
get thrown on the patio for whoever shows up. I never see one in my
yard. Life's not fair!
