Forgot to mention the Tricolored Blackbirds are back at the Para Ponds, G
White-fronted Geese were seen at 4 locations, and the feeding frenzy at
Corfu (Road C, not Corfu Road) with geese and pintails near sunset is worth
a visit. The cranes have moved around a little at the Corfu fields, but
Road E and 15.1 SE is pretty reliable.

In addition to the usual cranes, Burrowing Owls and curlews, a few other
birds of interest have been seen. Friday evening Mike Denny's group found a
blue phase Snow Goose at Corfu. This morning the Ross's Goose was there and
has used County Line ponds during the day. Also this morning Bob Flores
again located the pair of White-winged Crossbills at the cemetery. The
longer birding trips are going out tomorrow morning, so expect a few first
arrivals and hopefully some surprises.
