Sunday, march 22nd, my daughte rand her friend were walking the Black Rive rtrail, out in Renton, and saw 45-50 Great Blue herons. They were feeding at the river's edge and were displaced by the Male Bald Eagle. They are sitting on the nests! There is as you may know, also aa active Bald Eagle nest with the female sitting, just down a ways from the rookery, going East. They also saw a garter snake with 2 babies on it's back and a muskrat.
