Today Tina and I birded in Skamania County. We located a SAY'S PHOEBE at the mouth of the Wind River just west of Home Valley. This is a cat 5 bird for Skamania County. The bird was observed from the boat launch perched on a tall piece of drift wood in the water. At the same location, we also had two AMERICAN DIPPER. They were plucking insects from logs in the calm water.
