Hello Tweeters,

On Sunday, March 22, I made note of the first female Rufous Hummingbird that
appeared at my backyard feeder in the Gatewood neighborhood of West Seattle.
This is much earlier than last year, but I was not nearly as observant last
spring so that's not really meaningful. Yesterday, I observed my first-ever
male Rufous in the back yard and managed to get some photographs of him.
Being a new birder, I'm not sure if this is interesting information or not,
but he's a lovely bird so I thought you might enjoy seeing the photographs.
