Driving east on 124th Ave from I-405 at Totem Lake to Redmond last
evening about 5 p.m., there was a female kestrel on a telephone wire as
you cross the valley floor. And just a few telephone posts east of her
was a rough-legged hawk on the opposite side of the road. Nice way to
end the work day!
