Have enjoyed the discussion on FLBCs. Since no one else has mentioned it I will, that is Gyrfalcon's codes are GYRF, not GRFE, or GYRFAL for SLBC.

I use the four letter codes as it is the easiest way to get to birds in the AviSys data base. They don't worry about the conflicts and give you all possibilities, e.g., BASW gets you Barn Swallow, Bank Swallow and Bahama Swallow, and you pick the one you want.
