Hello,

I spent Friday in the Okanogan Highlands, trying to find some of the winter finches before they left the area. For the most part I was pleased with my results.

Bolster Rd: 8 Common Redpolls, Varied Thrash

Mary Ann Creek Rd: 50 Common Redpolls (very close in breeding plumage), N Goshawk, Mt Buebirds

Molson: Bald Eagle, Violet Green Swallows, Barrow's Goldeneyes, Mt Bluebirds

Muskrat Lake: Pine Grosbeaks (5) in the Engleman Spruce Forest., Pileated Woodpecker, Great Horned Owl, Mt Bluebirds (everwhere)

Nealy Rd: 40 Gray Crowned Rosy Finches (breeding plumage - wow!), Say's Phoebes, 32 Mt Bluebirds

Highland Snow Park: 7 Williamson's Sapsuckers, 2 Pileated Woodpeckers, Say's Phoebe, Mt and Western Bluebirds, Brown Creeper

Blessings
