Dalles Mt. Rd. had Mt. Bluebirds, 1 Rough-legged Hawk, and Vesper Sparrows. Just south of Centerville on Dalles Mt. Rd. pass a muddy plowed field on the west side of the road and then a little further south and cross over Swale Creek and look west where there were 100+ Dunlin and a couple of Herring Gulls.



A quick stop near Brooks Memorial State Park found few birds as the snowflakes were mingling with the rain at 37 F degrees.



0.9 miles north of Lyle on Hwy 142 park on the top of the small road leading down to the Klickitat River and walk around the bend at the top of the road and watch the tops of the trees for a male Anna's Hummingbird. I first found this bird in May of 1987 and it or it's offspring is still on territory there. Have seen it many times here.



At the rest area on Hwy 14 just west of Lyle were 2 Peregrine Falcons. Their chasing around making lots of noise and mating makes me think they will be nesting in the area.
