I saw a Heerman's Gull in breeding plumage hanging around the Point Hudson Marina in Port Townsend this afternoon. We get a lot of immatures arriving in late April, early May, for the summer but the mature ones are supposed to be breeding down in Baja. This is the second one seen in the last few weeks (or a second sighting of the same one).?
