There was a singing Black-Headed Grosbeak at my brother's place in South
Kitsap today.

Good birding,

Subject: [Tweeters] Western Tanager

First Western Tanager in yard today. Chipping Sparrow came on Wednesday and
last Golden-crowned Sparrow seems to have finally left. Purple Finch in
numbers of two to six coming and going, American Goldfinch since midweek.
Soon as the Black-headed Grosbeak gets here we will know for sure, weather
or no, it is spring.
