Hi Tweeters,
Yesterday, I wandered over East of the pass and hiked up an old
abandoned road up Anderson Canyon heading up towards Sauer Peak just outside of
Peshastin I was surprised to see so many Nashville Warblers. There were
about 10 of them moving around along the small stream. I also saw large
numbers of Myrtle's and Audubon's Yellow-Rumped Wablers. I heard two Wild
Turkey's calling back and forth to each other; Several Calliope Hummingbirds were
present too. I saw some fleeting glimpses of a flycatcher but couldn't
identify it.
Also, back home on Sunday I had a great bunch of Audubon's Yellow-Rumped
Warblers and Townsend's Warblers working on the trees near by. Next thing, a
Black-headed Grosbeak! I'm waiting.......
