Hi Tweets,

While reviewing my photos from the Fill today and reflecting on what I observed, I think I witnessed what would be the typical life cycle of our avian friends. When I first arrived around 7:30 am, I wanted to beat the Center for Urban Horticulture (CUH) garden sale rush, I witnessed the courtship of two Barn Swallows. As I was getting ready to leave, around 12:30 pm, I witnessed a Red-tailed Hawk swooping in, and picking off a shorebird from the shores of one of the ponds. In between those times I saw nesting birds, potential hazards to nesting birds and offspring, parents with hatchlings, and daily life. I tried to document that cycle in my FLICKR photo set attached. When you think about it, it's the natural way of life, pretty cool, at least for me.

It would be best if you opened the set in sequence rather than following the photo stream.
