Hi tweets'

I'll second that iBird recommendation. We installed it on our iPod Touch
and it is very easy to access any bird you want, see photos, see the range
map, read a summary of the natural history, and play its song. You can even
loop it if you want to call in a bird. I picked up a slick little speaker
system at the Audubon Nature shop that includes a case. I have no financial
interest in either of these products.

Subject: [Tweeters] Osprey or Eagle over Renton . iBird application

Yesterday morning I saw a bird fly over, while sitting on my back porch. It
had a white head and flew with deep slow wing flaps. I live in the Renton
East Highlands. It was going in the direction from city of Seattle towards
Maple Valley. I think it was too small to be an Eagle, so in the short time
I had to observe it, concluded it must be an Osprey.

I purchased the application called iBird Explorer West for my iPod Touch. I
really like it, a great thing for amateur bird watchers. It has bird sounds,
photos, and facts besides the bird book type of information.
