Friday May 1st, a biologist buddy and I climbed up to the base of
Pyramid Peak (~5800') and spent the night. We saw numerous gray-
crowned rosy-finches, including one pair in particular that was
making forays back and forth to a spot on the east face of Pyramid.
Not sure if anyone is keeping track of these guys. For more info/
map, contact me off-list.
