There is a Bald Eagle at the Fill which appears injured/sick or just wet. It hasn't been able to fly although it keeps trying. It is at the first pond off of Wahkiakum. When it tries to fly it lands in water and manages to get back to shore but I imagine it might run out of luck eventually. If anyone knows who to notify, please do so.

Otherwise, just be aware it is in the grass by the first pond and perhaps try not to disturb too much as it tries to fly when it sees someone on the trail. Last I saw, it was on the shorebird/pipit side of the pond.
