Here in Okanogan I have noticed that I have a Blackbird--that has a
thin white bar on the wing but who lacks a third color on the epulet.
I have one that has been frequenting my feeders--along with the
Redwinged Blackbirds and another friend of mine about 6 miles away has
had one hanging out in her backyard. Are these juvenile Red Winged
Blackbirds or possibly juvenile Tricolored Blackbirds? There is no red
(or yellow for that matter) on either bird's wing (we've taken pictures
and looked closely).
