Subject: [Tweeters] Western Wood-Peewee arrival

Hi Tweeters,

Along the Green River this morning on the trail at the end of Frager Road north of Meeker I heard several Western Wood-Peewee's calling. I also heard my first of year Swainson's Thrush calling. There was a nice batch of Western Tanagers near where the big doug firs are. This is also the area where the peewees were calling. Between the tanagers and the Bullock's Orioles it was so nice to see the tropical looking birds back. I still have not run into Black-headed Grosbeak yet this year. They nest at this location so I imagine any day now.
